Heho

Heho is a city in Shan State, Eastern Myanmar.

Heho is mostly known because it has an airport with connections to Yangon, Mandalay and other domestic airports.

From there, most people take a tour bus, taxi or pickup to get to Inle Lake. Directly outside the airport, taxi drivers charged between 15,000 and 30,000 kyat in Sep 2010 for the 45-minute drive to Inle. Private cars would do it for 10,000 kyat if you had good negotiating skills.

Taking a bus or pickup, you have to walk to the main road outside the airport. This is a 2 km walk to the right when exiting the airport.
